“Hi, I’m asexual and have been for a long while. In fact, my friends knew before I did. I’m mostly here to say that you can have a healthy relationship with someone who isn’t asexual even when you are. I’m in a relationship that’s actually going quite well, and he knows I’m asexual. It’s important to make sure there is a mutual understanding between the two of you, and everything will be fine. There’s love out there for all asexuals. I promise. But if you partner isn’t willing to understand your sexuality, then you shouldn’t be with them. You deserve to be comfortable as well especially if you are repulsed by sex like some asexuals are. Just don’t lose hope.”
